We bought a home that has laminate flooring with gaps in the boards. We figured it would be an easy replacement but quickly realized it would cost too much to replace a 900 sq ft room based only on the gaping of a few boards. The gapping is in the middle of room so its really noticeable and l have no idea how to fix this. If anybody has any idea or tips please help! Thanks in advance!

The floor must have been put down improperly, with a few of the planks not interlocking correctly, & the fools left it that way. When they r put together properly they snap together with not even a hairline between them.

The ONLY way to fix it is to disassemble the floor in the reverse order it was laid, meaning u have to figure out where they ended in laying it, & go all the way back to where the gap is & try to re-seat them, but I bet they damaged the tongues & grooves & u could not make it fit no matter what. If u r lucky u may be able to find the same flooring in a home center, & buy just one bundle to replace the damaged ones if need be. But there is no way around it, u r going to have to take up the floor piece by piece in the reverse order & put it back the same way.
