Are there specific kilns for ceramics and a specific kiln for clay pottery
A kiln is a kiln, pretty much, except that some go to higher temperatures than others. For ceramics (if you mean decorating bisque with glazes and then firing) you need lower temperatures than what you need for firing porcelain or stoneware bodies. Usually, a medium-sized kiln will be versatile enough unless you are planning on being a potter for a living. Check out Evenheat kilns on Google. Good luck!
