I recently had wood laminate flooring installed and have been using a swiffer and the wet pads to clean it.

I was once told to use windshield wiper cleaner ( 4 lite jug ) damp mop and clean away. It evaporates fast so it should not hurt your floor.

I have cleaned houses for many years. What is happening is the solution from the swifter pads is too thick that is why it is leaving a film. If it was me I would use just a cleaning towel damp to the touch . Warm water & that would be it. Have plenty of air stirring. also the step before I would vacuum with attachment soft brush to get rid of dirt before u wet mop. I have a place I clean that just laid wood laminate floor & he is pleased with what I do. It is safe & keeps floors clean

I am afraid you will have to ask the company which you've bought it from..

For future reference, I advise you NOT to wet it at all!
Just sweep.. And if you want it clean, put anti-bacterial wipes on your swifer and quickly, very quickly go over the floor to get rid of the germs without ruining it.

You're not supposed to wet laminate.
Good luck <3

That is all we use on our floor as well. The film should come off with a sponge and warm water.
