Im 6 weeks pregnant and halfway through a ceramics course at college.
l obviously dont wanna harm the foetus in any way but i'd hate to be kicked off the course. Im speaking to them tomorrow about it but wondered if anyone knew the score with working with ceramics during pregnancy.
What additional measures need taken?
Wear a mask, gloves and make sure you're in a well ventilated shop and you should be okay.I am not sure if the chemicals used in ceramics are harmful to a pregnancy. But it is better to be safe then sorry.
I do not know for sure but I do not think anything will happen, maybe you will just not be able to be around certain chemicals but I am sure everything else will be fine.
